"I have been going to the LifeLight Festival since 2002. The first year I went, I went because it was free and I thought, 'I'm a Christian, I should be able to appreciate some free Christian music.' I didn't expect to be challenged in my faith and to have a spark lit within me to grow as a Christian. Every year an artist will give a testimony that speaks directly to me and keeps me on the path in my walk with the Lord. I don't even listen to secular music any more. The world of Christian music is so huge, I don't need to! LifeLight has helped foster in me a desire to fill my life only with things that will glorify the Lord!"

"I'm not sure if you would remember me or not, but I met you almost a year ago at a LifeLight Tour in Milbank, South Dakota. The reason I am emailing you is to say thank you. At that concert I just expected to see some good bands and hang out with my friends. But after I met Jeremy Willet, everything changed for me. Then he introduced me to you. During that time I wasn't doing too well. I was on a lot of drugs, and I didn't want to admit that I wasn't in good shape. Well, you and Jeremy Willet prayed with me that night. And after that I got myself into a rehab with Jeremy's help and now almost a year later I love to say, I am clean from drugs and cutting. And just a short month ago I gave my life to God. I'm starting all over. And it feels great. So even though you might not remember me...thanks to you and God's amazing love and grace I am still here."

"Sometimes as Christians we become complacent in our ‘faith walk' and become out of shape spiritually; not willing to step out of our spiritual comfort zone. I gave God every excuse why I couldn't go to Mexico and watched Him remove every obstacle that I thought was too big to overcome. God gave me no choice but to surrender and submit. If I would have let fear keep me from this mission trip, I would have missed indescribable blessings. My only regret is resisting the lengths that I would allow myself to be stretched. My life is forever changed by what I experienced and what I witnessed through God's grace."

"Wow, what an impact the 2008 Festival had on this area! We went to Spencer Iowa's Fair and sat down for a snack when a young family asked if they could sit next to us. I noticed the young girl (teen) had on a LifeLight necklace. I said 'I heard that at one of the concerts 300 had given their hearts to Jesus'. She said 'I was one of the 300'!"

"On behalf of the youth ministers and youth leaders of Yankton, I would like to thank all of the volunteers, sponsors, supporters and attendees for helping to make the LifeLight concert possible. It was a tremendous concert with a great attendance. We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to next year's tour. It was truly a wonderful experience watching the youth enter with anticipation, the adults follow with support and interest, and band members poor out their heart sharing testimonies of their relationship with God. The music was phenomenal, bringing the message to attendees of all ages through Christian rock music sure to get everyone up and out of their seats rejoicing with great volume. "I remember last summer listening and hearing how LifeLight began, but I wondered if you really knew that the glimmers of the ministry started much sooner than you realized... I remember very vividly attending a Church high school youth meeting at your house. This was during a period where I was close to throwing away my Christian upbringing altogether, and I worshiped the Heavy Metal scene and all the stars on stages. That evening, you introduced me to Christian rock as an alternative. It shocked me to hear Christian music with the same rhythm as the bands I loved... 10 years ago, after going back and forth with seeking God and pulling away I decided "no more" and accepted Christ. This was further culminated this summer with my rededicating myself to Christ and resolving through listening to your speakers at LifeLight to throw off the secular rock music that lead me down a path that would have cost me everything if it were not for yours, and God's, intervention. I now embrace Christ, and the music I listen to must now first glorify Him. You all have shown the light of Christ to me in many glorious ways... Without a doubt God was a very guiding force in bringing you all to me at a difficult time in my youth."
