My Story: About a month, month and a half before Lifelight something amazing happened.  After more than a year of drug abuse that ranged from Marijuana to Prescription Pills a Christian friend confronted me about my problems and threatened me with the ending of our friendship.  That night I went to bed with the choice in my mind, the drugs I abused and my friends.  That night I decided that my friends were more important and I stopped my drug abuse.  It was but two weeks later and my friend's mother came to me and asked me if I wished to attend Lifelight and she would pay for it and give me some spending money.  I decided since I had recently fell for Thousand Foot Krutch's music, I said yes.  During my attendance at Lifelight something miraculous happened, the stage was running late and the band I wanted to see was going to be later, I decided to attend the Casting Crown's concert with my friend's mother who had been so kind to me and my friend herself.  Listening to Mark Hall's testimony about how the Enemy pushes buttons in the back of our heads about things, I realized this is what he was doing to me in being scared of the Christian Faith. It was at that point through the grace of the Lord I stood up against his lies and gave myself over to him. 
My burning zealous soul took my suffering and put it to use in a way that the Lord was leading me.  I took my musical talents and changed my secular band to a Christian Metal band.  This caused me to bring both my brother Billy and my cousin Ben to the Lord themselves.  Billy came easily as he had seen what his little brother had changed into.  Ben had slipped further into drugs but through training by my wonderful youth pastor and the strength of the Lord, he was brought back into the light.  This not only caused my little stepbrother to find the Lord but I helped many of my friends into the light.  This prompted me to take the Lord's message into my heart and start a ministry called OMR or One Man Revolution to combat drug abuse, bullying, and suicidal depression among teenagers.  Both of my projects are slow moving because of finances being low but through the strength of the Lord I believe that we will prevail.  I would just like to thank the staff, sponsors, and artists of Lifelight for bringing the LIGHT into my LIFE.  I know I missed my chance to speak last year but if permitted I would enjoy to share this year as I believe with the Lord by my side I could make a difference.  Once again thanks and God Bless.  I will see you guys this year at Lifelight.

“I just wanted to let you know that you guys were incredible.  My life basically revolves around my kids and their friends, so when I set out to bring your groups to Tilden it wasn't for you, or for the praises I might have received after.  It was for the Glory of God, and for the kids.  There was nothing more beautiful then seeing God through the eyes of the kids as they took in the day.  Seeing God through their eyes is the most incredible thing, so true and humbling.  They could sing, laugh, dance around, and have a good time praising God without being judged by others around them.  As they were out there on the floor dancing and laughing, they seemed without care of whatever may have weighed on their hearts during the week. For one moment in time, they were totally free.  It was an unbelievable sight which made my heart cry with joy.  God is their Super Hero and the bands were his warriors.  I couldn't have asked for better role models.  Seeing our friend Eli float on air all day because he got to meet the bands, seeing Brent and his roommates jumping around on the floor, (an attempt at what they call dancing), seeing Segan sitting on the stairs in front of the stage in awe of the music, and my littlest one, Shelby, swaying her arms back and forth with the crowd, far outweighed any problems that I had while setting the concert.  So many praises have gone up to God as I watched everyone take just one moment in their lives and give God his glory. All of you made this happen. Truly Incredible!!!
