We asked our staff to give us a peek into the 'behind the scenes' world of what makes them tick.  We hope that by letting you kind of 'hang out' in the offices here, and letting you know us a bit more that you will get a glimpse of the joy in our jobs, and most importantly, the joy we find in Christ.

1.) What was your FIRST connection with LifeLight Communications?
I first became acquainted with LifeLight when God spoke to me about a ministry that would reach outside the walls of the Church with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. As myself and others followed along on this journey, God launched a ministry that we are so privileged to be part of. I spent years in business, sales and serving in other ministries. The first LifeLight Festival was in 1998 after a life-changing mission trip to Mexico as a family. Even prior to that, God reached my wife and I through music, and in the early 1980's we and three other couples formed LifeLight Communications to reach youth through concerts. The ministry was reborn in 1998 after over a 10 year period of absence. My wife, Vicki, and I are so grateful to serve in ministry together and have been blessed to work with an incredible team of called and committed people in the Lord's work.

2.) What have you been reading lately?
Leadership Secrets of Billy Graham, They like Jesus but not the Church by Dan Kimball and The Bible. I really like Acts as it is a model for the church and all of the letters from Paul.

3.) Who are you going to be when God is finished with you?

When He is finished I will long to hear those words, "Well done good and faithful servant." He will never be finished with me and it is amazing that He continues to use me and us flawed humans to carry out the most important message to the world; that Jesus came to save us.

4.) What is the toughest lesson you’re glad you learned?
To be patient and wait for God's timing on things. Seems He has to continually remind me of His timing and plans.

5.) Do you have any pets?  How are you most like your pet?

I have a black lab mix dog named Scooter. I am most like Scooter at meal time when I wag my tail and run around in circles waiting for the meal. I get grumpy if I don't eat on schedule.

6.) If you had 48 hours and $500 to do anything, what would you do?

Fly to Columbus Ohio to see my Grandson and take my wife and new granddaughter with me.

The greatest joy and passion for me is to share the Good News with people (the Gospel) that God came to earth in the form of His Son and pursues a relationship with us. That by confessing our sin and turning from it and receiving Him into our heart, He transforms our lives and He will do that for anyone who calls upon Him! I am so glad that He has adopted me as a child of God and want the whole world to know of Him.
