2008 Festival Recap
What a great and glorious God we serve!

We sensed His presence and experienced His hand at work all over the grounds this year. We know we are called to be obedient to the Lord’s call and leave the results to Him, and yet, this year we were privileged to be part of the harvest, and what a harvest it was, God was at work all around the festival.

Whats Next

This is just a glimpse of where we saw His spirit at work.

On Saturday night as tens of thousands of people worshiped with Michael W Smith you could sense the Holy Spirit moving in the crowd. Michael spoke of the incredible grace of God and thousands made a commitment to Christ. At the same time that this was happening on the Main Stage, the band Seventh Day Slumber was ministering through music on the Souled Out stage. When Joseph, from the band, shared his testimony and gave an invitation to Christ, something happened that could only be a move of the Holy Spirit. Hundreds and hundreds of young people ran to the front of the stage and dropped to their knees to surrender to Jesus!!  Many were weeping in repentance and brokenness moved beyond words.

Yes, God was moving at LifeLight.  READ THE COMPLETE RECAP

STORIES/TESTIMONIES:

Thank you for doing such a great job. This is a top notch festival, open and available to anyone without charge and sometimes we take it for granted and don't realize what a blessing it is to have such a festival in our own city. Our church enjoys volunteering each year at the Souled Out stage and we appreciate the opportunity to serve.

I attended the 2008 LifeLight Music Festival, where on Sunday morning during the Community Worship Service, I rededicated my life to Jesus Christ. Thank you for helping me reopen my heart to my Lord and Savior!

Thanks so much for lifelight. I just got back home from lifelight. It was an amazing experience of volunteering, camping, and the festivals. David Nassar telling me that the hardest thing is trusting in a God you can't see, made me thank God that I can trust God to care for me and reminded me not to worry about the future or what career, the future husband for me, or about tomorrow. It backed my faith and strengthen me that it's in God's hands. Thanks so much!
