JOHN REUBEN

John Reuben

He goes by many different names… Don Rubio… Johnny Reubonic…  if you’ve been to the LifeLight Festival and seen him before you know he is simply rad.  Sideways rain pelting him couldn’t hold him down in 2001, a thousand hands reaching for the sky in 2006 is what he’s about- but hands that point to the God John seeks to walk with daily.  John Reuben is a true entertainer, laying down clever, intelligent lyrics and deeply smart music w/layer upon layer of silky beats- a ‘can’t miss’ live show for sure- BUT what we don’t want you to miss in the show is that there is a genuine relationship with Christ, a deep sense of gratitude and humility for being able to do what God has gifted him to do, and a longing to connect not only his heart, but also yours, with the creative, clever, intelligent, deeper than deep, layer upon layer almighty CREATOR- the one who gave us all the ability to praise, whether we are making the beats or just dancing to them.
