VOLUNTEERS
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for LifeLight. Please complete the application and choose your preferred areas to work. There is an option to choose to work the festival and/or work at events year round.
The festival is broken down into the following areas:
FinanceFinance is responsible for collecting and managing donations and vendor commissions throughout the festival weekend. Offering ushers, counters, vendor check-out workers are all needed. We usually take two offerings per day at the main stage and one offering per day at the other stages. Over 100 volunteers are needed to assist with offerings.
Production
Production is responsible to assure all stages are loaded and functioning for each artist performance. Stage hands, sound technicians, video camera shooters, and other production areas are needed. These positions are usually filled through the production manager, if you have trained skills in any of these areas please e-mail us and indicate what your skills and interests are for volunteering in the production area.
Ministry is the most important area of the festival. It is why we do the festival! Prayer Counselors, Student Ministry street teams, Children’s area workers, and Missions tent workers are all needed. Over 300 prayer partners/counselors are needed to pray with new believers and those who are rededicating their lives to Christ in the prayer tents. Student ministry street teams are out in the crowds at the Souled Out stage talking with kids about the Lord. Children’s area workers help with all activities and also pray with children accepting Christ as their Savior. Missions tent workers encourage those entering the tents to consider going on a LifeLight Missions trip and providing information about how to support and encourage missionaries around the world.
Volunteers who wish to work in the prayer tent ministries must register by attending one session of training and orientation every year. If you do not attend one of the sessions listed below you are not registered and will not be permitted to volunteer in the prayer tent ministries. You do not have to pre-register to attend a training session.
