Volunteer Information/Training Meetings
will be held at the new festival grounds
Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 am
Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 10:00 - 11:00 am
Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm
Friday, September 3, 2010 from 9:00 to 10:00 am
The Volunteer training meetings will:
• provide festival operating and safety procedures
• provide you with knowledge of the festival ministry
• connect you to your area coordinator
• familiarize you with the festival grounds
• provide you with your shift information
• provide you with the ability to talk to any of the festival organizers
Since we are at our new permanent home, it will be mandatory that you to attend at least one training date. (If you cannot attend one of the training dates, please contact us at volunteer@lifelight.org to make special arrangements) A limited selection of volunteer positions will be available for walk up-volunteers this year, so we highly encourage pre-application. Thank you for your understanding.
We are excited to meet with you and reconnect with so many of you who continually help every year to make this event a truly spiritual experience for festival attendees.
We hope to again offer t-shirts as a thank you gift for volunteering at least a four hour shift. Your area coordinator will be responsible to provide you with this gift once you check in for your shift. We only have enough t-shirts for our volunteers. Children under 16 may accompany their parents; however, we are not able to provide all family members with a t-shirt due to the high number of volunteers needed to work the festival. We want to make sure all eligible volunteers are provided with their thank you gift and appreciate your understanding in this matter.
God bless and thank you for your servant heart.
