Less than four weeks until Sioux Falls hosts one of the largest free outdoor music festivals in the country
2009 LifeLight festival lineup includes Newsboys, Kutless and Superchick
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (August 10, 2009) – On Labor Day weekend, some of the biggest names in Christian Music will come to Sioux Falls, S.D. for the annual LifeLight Music Festival. Three full days of music, camping, speakers, games, seminars, food and merchandise kicks off at noon on Friday September 4 at the 160 acre spread outside Wild Water West in Sioux Falls.
Leading artists performing on the five LifeLight Festival stages include Newsboys, Kutless, Sanctus Real, Superchick, Lincoln Brewster, Rush of Fools, John Reuben, Phil Joel, DecembeRadio, Downhere, Stellar Kart, Esterlyn, Family Force 5, Thousand Foot Krutch, Disciple, Tenth Avenue North, Vota, Krystal Meyers, Remedy Drive, The Michael Gungor Band and many more. The speakers at the festival include the offspring of two of the world’s most recognized evangelists – Will Graham, grandson of Billy Graham and Andrew Palau, son of Luis Palau. The twelfth annual LifeLight festival will have everything that keeps people coming back every year along with new events and attractions. Run for His Glory, a 5k or 10k competitive road race and a 3k fun run/walk will start at 7:00 a.m. Saturday on the festival grounds. On Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m., church-goers of all denominations will gather for a community worship service.
Because it is funded by numerous local individuals and businesses, admission to the festival is free. As always, the festival will provide opportunities for attendees to give to people in need.
Founded in 1998, LifeLight Communications is a faith-based, non-profit organization that facilitates numerous concerts, mission trips, tours, student clubs and other events by partnering with churches, businesses and other ministries.
