So many stories can be told because we came together as the body of Christ to “be the Church.” As you read through this newsletter, take time to notice these stories. For example, I well remember a couple walking up to me at the festival and saying, “God rescued us from divorce last year and saved our marriage. We’re back this year to celebrate.” Also, I have heard stories of people adopting children from Haiti and from those who have sponsored a child in a third world country because God was moving on their hearts at the festival. Still many others have been rescued from a life of drugs or alcoholism or a dysfunctional family situation.
As we move to our new permanent festival and ministry grounds, we are asking you to partner with us in celebrating what God has done and will do as we continue in obedience to His command.
John 3:16. A simple message, yet so profound: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
We will never cease proclaiming the Good News and the truth of the Gospel until the day Jesus returns.
Will you join us?
Until the whole world knows,
Alan Greene
Evangelist & CEO

an be accomplished with 225 acres, interstate access and facilities to accommodate hundreds of thousands of people? With God’s provision and blessing, the answer is quite literally–ANYTHING! Last November, LifeLight announced that farmland east of Worthing had been gifted to the ministry for long-term use. So the question becomes…“what happens after the festival is over?” We believe that God has provided the answer. And we’re calling His answer ‘Vision 3 to 365’ because it calls us to extend the impact of our three day festival to 365 days a year. Keep watching for more information in the weeks and months ahead regarding Vision 3 to 365!
The grass is up; now we need to put in parking, electrical, plumbing, stages and many other infrastructure needs. Why not help us prepare for the thousands who are coming in just a few weeks? We have 225 acres to prepare for the Festival. Here are just a few ways you can help:
• Stage or Building Upgrade – $5,000
• 500 Cars (road & parking improvements) – $1,000
• 5 Electrical Hook-Ups – $500
• 25 Prayer Tent Bibles – $100
• Gravel or Grass - $50 load / acre
Time is short (less than 60 days). Thank you for your partnership in ministry.
For the Kingdom,
Alan Greene
to them because it’s so difficult to get there. They were extremely grateful. The church services were incredible! We have experienced many different people and cultures, but we have never seen people worship and praise the Lord with so much passion and fire! They were dancing and singing like David was described in the Bible. It was an incredible experience and the team was in awe of their love for Jesus! Since the earthquake, people are hungry and flocking to the churches. Praise God! There is
a revival going on in Haiti!
andered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. They they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. Let them thank the Lord for His steadfast love, for His wondrous works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul He fills with good things.” —Psalm 107:4-9
to the people of that nation. Jesus and His word are truth, and once people understand it and have an experience with God, they are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit and experience the real hope and love of Christ. We proclaimed the Gospel to over 20,000 people in Pakistan through 4 days of festivals, 2 days of Pastors conferences, and other outreaches. Ove
r 6,000 people responded to the invitation to receive Christ. We ministered through prayer, fellowship, medical supplies, soccer balls, and numerous biblical resources. We believe the souls who were saved are the seeds of real revival in Pakistan.
Let’s pray that the Spirit moves across Pakistan and throughout all of Asia. One day Jesus is going to return. May He find us faithful in proclaiming Him to the nations. Thank you for your prayers and support and for helping us continue to spread the Gospel on the frontlines.
Another school year has ended and we are so blessed to have a solid group of Souled Out clubs and coaches. We asked some of our coaches to share their experience over the school year, giving YOU some insight into all that takes place in our middle
and high school campus clubs. For more information on the Souled Out Club ministry or to find a club at your school, please visit our website at www.LifeLight.org/students
There don’t seem to be many words that can adequately describe the Spring Tour that we recently finished with Brian Head Welch (formerly of KoRn), The Classic Crime & Children 18:3. I think it was best described by our friend Blake from OneHope in an email sent to Alan and Vicki after the tour, which you can read below. We partner with OneHope on each of our Tours, as they provide us with the Book of Hope resources that are handed out to all who attend. The Book of Hope for this particular Tour was customized to have Brian’s story, along with so much great content from the Bible on beginning a relationship with Christ. All in all, over 1,700 people made commitments to Jesus Christ throughout the 11 city Tour! Over 500 of those people making commitm
ents completed a response card and turned it back in to us. The local youth networks in each city are now following up with each of those people! We at LifeLight are so thankful for organizations like OneHope, Pizza Ranch, VantagePoint, & Vander Haag’s that make these Tours a reality. Also, a huge thank you to all the businesses and individuals locally in each city for all their hard work that make each night go so well! We are always told by the bands that our Tours are so different than others they go on, and it’s because of all of these people that make that happen!
I definitely want to thank you for your vision, and for your trust in the abilities of Rob and Dave to make a profound difference on a generation that needs to hear the Gospel message on its own terms, and in a delivery style that only they can understand.
Look forward to moving forward.

MercyMe–2010 LifeLight Festival Sunday Night Headliner
The multi-platinum national act MercyMe will close the 2010 LifeLight Music Festival on Sunday, September 5, 2010. This is the first appearance by MercyMe at the festival.
The award-winning band MercyMe is encouraging “All Of Creation” to “love
well”
with their
upcoming studio album “The Generous Mr. Lovewell” (INO Records), released May 4th nationwide. The hit “I Can Only Imagine” launched MercyMe into national status on both secular and Christian radio in 2001, since then the men of MercyMe – Bart Millard (vocals), Jim Bryson (keys), Mike Scheuchzer (guitar), Nathan Cochran (bass) and Robby Shaffer (drums) have continued on a successful musical career worshipping the Lord and leading others in His praise. That commitment has guided the band through the creation of six independent projects (which have amassed total sales of 100,000 units) and led them to sign on as one of the flagship artists of INO Records.
Bart says the band’s goals for the ministry of MercyMe are quite simple. “I pray that God would use us like psalmists – it would be an immense privilege to think that a song we write might outlive this band. I pray that when people look at these five men, they see the hand of God. We want to lead people to His throne through worship. It’s not about us. Any time I can step away from the microphone and listen to the body of Christ sing, I’ll do it. I’d rather hear that than hear myself sing any day of the week. We hope to be doing this when praise and worship isn’t ‘popular’ anymore – but why shouldn’t it continue to be? It’s the reason we were created.”
Other bands making their first appearance at LifeLight this year include The David Crowder Band, Group 1 Crew, Francesca Battistelli, Mikeschair, Kari Jobe, The Parachute Band, Needtobreathe, Brian “Head” Welch (formerly of KoRn), and The Almost. Julie Klinger, Festival Director, adds, “With a new location we wanted to bring in some new artists who haven’t been to the festival before. LifeLight is thrilled to have a great line-up that people will really enjoy.” You can view other band announcements at www.LifeLight.org/festival.
