We asked our staff to give us a peek into the 'behind the scenes' world of what makes them tick. We hope that by letting you kind of 'hang out' in the offices here, and letting you know us a bit more that you will get a glimpse of the joy in our jobs, and most importantly, the joy we find in Christ.

1.) What was your FIRST connection with LifeLight Communications?
Well this is going to take me far back to 1998 when Alan and Vicki asked me if I'd want to be a part of starting an outreach festival in Sioux Falls; of course I said yes and well, the rest is history. After volunteering for 10 years I became a paid staff member in June of 2007. I coined the phrase "I gave my life to LifeLight!"

2.) What have you been reading lately?
Well after hearing in two churches and in devotions at our office all within one week that I should read through the Bible in one year, that's what I'm doing. It's cool because I'm doing it with my parents and my sister so this should be a great year of more in-depth learning.

3.) Who are you going to be when God is finished with you?
Wow, I think only God knows that. I'm a pretty imperfect one for Him to use but feel honored every day that He chooses to use me in spite of my imperfections. I just hope to continually increase my humility and servant heart throughout the rest of my life and feel so blessed to be working in ministry as my career.

4.) Do you have any pets? How are you most like your pet?
I have a little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Emmie) and she's as spoiled as her name sounds. I am most like her in that my favorite thing to do is to relax and cuddle while watching a good movie!! Although my dog is usually on my lap under the blanket so I guess she doens't necessarily watch the movie just listens while snoring quite loudly, but that trait I'm not like at all!!
