On Jan. 2nd, a team of 22 people journeyed to Haiti for an entire week of ministry. We set out to do a three-night festival, an orphanage visit, village visits and church visits.“Look for the presence of Jesus,” Alan Greene, Evangelist/Founder of LifeLight, stated as he spoke with our team upon our arrival in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. At that moment, I remember feeling as if I was about to be overwhelmed with the presence of God on this trip. That thought came to be fact as the festival was coming to an end on Sunday night, with 8,000 Haitians crying out “Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna in the Highest” along with Rachelle Hope and the rest of the LifeLight team. There is no better feeling than to watch the presence of God swarm an entire field full of thousands of people in need of Jesus.
The team experienced the presence of God each night of the festival as we watched 16,000 Haitians fill a soccer field over the 3 nights, thousands of them making commitments to the Lord for the first time. There is no doubt that whether Rachelle Hope or True Emotion were singing, Jon Greer was performing aerial BMX tricks, Alan was sharing the Gospel, or the rest of the team was praying over people, we found the presence of Jesus on that field deep in the heart of Haiti.
Thank you to everyone who has been praying for and supporting this team and this trip. We had an amazing experience watching the Lord work through each and every team member and are excited for the harvest of souls to continue in Haiti.
