Haiti

In January, 2011, Josh Brewer (LifeLight Missions Director) will be joining a festival crusade in Ley Cayes, Haiti to serve alongside other evangelists and ministry leaders in proclaiming the Gospel, visiting tent villages and simply bringing the Good news of Jesus to this lost nation. Please be in prayer for that outreach and the hearts of the Haitian people to be open to the message.

Looking beyond all the trash that you will find in Haiti, you will see God’s beautiful creation on the island.  What was once known as the Pearl of the Caribbean is now the poorest country in the western hemisphere and the second poorest in the world.  Poverty is only the start to the problems that the Haiti has encountered.  Adding to their problems is a growing rate of promiscuity among the entire nation and gangs rioting everywhere in protest against the rising food & gas prices.

Haiti is a country in desperate need of hope and someone to show them love and this is where we feel the call to go and bring hope to the hopeless.  Upon obeying the call to go to Haiti, you will assist in supplying food for multiple schools, bringing hope to orphans, taking care of the needs of the people spiritual and physical, and evangelism. All of this is done for the Glory of God!
