Rosebud Indian Reservation Mission Trip
Jul 23, 2008 to Jul 28, 2008
TRIP RECAP:
Stepping out in obedience to follow Christ, 30 people from multiple churches and towns came together to bring glory to God to the Native Americans in Mission, SD.
The outreach consisted of basketball, children’s games & activities, prayer walking, street evangelism, projects, and a concert on Main Street! Most importantly, we got to share the love of Jesus Christ with each and every one of the people we came across. It was a successful outreach and many gave their lives to the Lord.
One day in particular we went to the Juvenile Detention Center in Rosebud. There were 30 youth there from ages 13-18. After hanging out with them and playing basketball, the gospel was shared an invitation given. Over half of the teens came up for prayer and began a new relationship with Jesus Christ. Please join us in rejoicing for what God has done on the reservation and praying for this people group that God so desperately longs for a relationship with.
