We asked our staff to give us a peek into the 'behind the scenes' world of what makes them tick.  We hope that by letting you kind of 'hang out' in the offices here, and letting you know us a bit more that you will get a glimpse of the joy in our jobs, and most importantly, the joy we find in Christ.

1.) What was your FIRST connection with LifeLight Communications? I first got connected with LifeLight back in 2002 when I met Alan and Vicki at a "battle of the bands" competition I was putting on for a christian festival a friend and I did for 3 years near Watertown, SD.  That same year our festival got rained out and we decided to discontinue the festival.  I started volunteering with LifeLight that summer, primarily to bring the battle of the bands concept into LifeLight.  I volunteered for about 5 years with various roles and served on the LifeLight Board for several of those years, before becoming full time staff in 2007. 

2.) From Living Your Strengths and the Clifton Strengths Finder Test, what is your greatest strength? My biceps are definitely my greatest strength.  Next to that would probably be my ability to wiggle my ears. 

3.) What's your weakness? My wife. She had me at hello.

4.) If you were written about in the newspaper, on the front page, what would the headline say? What about Bob Rob.......He's sailing.

5.) Favorite Bible story? Zacchaeus.  He was short and couldn't see over the crowd.  I can relate.  He was a sinner.  I can relate.  When he encountered Jesus, his life changed.  I can relate.  Jesus said to Zacchaeus, (Luke 19:10) "For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost."  I can relate.
