We asked our staff to give us a peek into the 'behind the scenes' world of what makes them tick.  We hope that by letting you kind of 'hang out' in the offices here, and letting you know us a bit more that you will get a glimpse of the joy in our jobs, and most importantly, the joy we find in Christ.

1.) What do your friends call you, like your nickname or whatever?
I have been called many things in my life - I will mention the good things here:  Tommy, Tommy Gun, T-Dog, Hendy, Hendog, Schlick, Tommy Tom Tom, Garmin, Superman (I ask my wife and kids to call me that), Tim Honderson

2.) What have you been reading lately?
Currently I am reading:  Axiom: 76 Leadership Proverbs, Next Generation Leader, It Came From Within, Telling the Story and the Bible.  I also really like the Jigsaw Jones Mystery books that Isaiah (my oldest son - age 7) is reading

3.)Who are you going to be when God is finished with you?
God will never be finished with me while I am here on this earth - He will always be working on me to become more like Him.  I guess when He IS finished with me, I will be in His presence in Heaven so I am probably not going to care about who I am at that point because I will be more consumed by where I am.

4.) What is the toughest lesson you’re glad you learned?
Growing up w/o a Dad in the home and with very little money caused me to become much more responsible as a young child.  Being the man of the house from age 9 and paying for everything from age 14 taught me how to care for others and be financially responsible as a husband, father and servant for the Lord.


5.)Do you have any pets?  How are you most like your pet?
Both my kids are allergic to pet dander so we have no pets.  I guess we could have a lizard or a naked mole rat but we haven't gone that route....yet.
