COLORADO TOUR RECAP
It was short, but it certainly was sweet! In just five short days, we saw nearly 400 people make commitments to Christ as we traveled from city to city with Sanctus Real and others. Numerous individuals also sponsored a child in Ethiopia with Food for the Hungry as they felt a call on their heart to make a difference for someone they don’t even know half way across the world. Each city was a little different from the other, but they all had one thing in common – CHANGED LIVES!
LifeLight is continuing to pray and pursue what God has for us in Colorado. Will you join us in prayer as we pursue a June 2009 Festival in Colorado. More information about this possibility will be posted on our website as details are finalized.

LIFELIGHT TOUR FEATURING SANCTUS REAL WITH SPECIAL GUESTS VOTA, REMEDY DRIVE, WILLET, & ROUGH DRAFT
SANCTUS REAL:
Success for Sanctus Real has typically been marked with massive radio singles, including six No. 1 songs and 11 Top 5 hits, albums that have marched up the Billboard sales charts, major tours with some of the biggest names in the business, or draped with various awards, including the Modern Rock Album of the Year Dove Award. But with their newest record, We Need Each Other, the band members feel they have created their most successful album to date because for them, it is just that.
After three records, the guys have finally crafted in their fourth effort the ever-elusive album - definitely not the norm in this season of hit singles. Not that the first single and title track wasn’t infectious enough to climb to No. 1 in record time, which it did, but the real surprise for the listener lies in the album as a whole.
We Need Each Other represents a startling leap forward in its songwriting, musicianship and overall production, and for the band, a way to connect to its listeners with a theme worth talking about. Wholeness, family and unity are what Sanctus Real has always been about, but it has never been penned as effectively. Complete with gut-honest lyrics and feel-good melodies from the opening riff to the closing thought, a strong, unyielding sense of unity and community is woven through the very musical fiber of this much-anticipated new album. VOTA - formerly known as Casting Pearls (6/13, 6/14 & 6/15 only):
Having established a reputation as one of the hardest-working independent bands in the Midwest , Casting Pearls has now released their debut on Inpop Records.
The band 's self-titled release, produced by Jason Burkum and Nathan Dantzler (Audio Adrenaline, Tree63, Kids In The Way), offers pure and honest guitar-driven rock with pop anthems that aim to make the listener think and move. The disc features the songwriting talents of Mark Heimmerman (dc Talk) and Tim Hughes, along with guest vocals from Phil Joel (newsboys). REMEDY DRIVE (6/11 & 6/12 only):
Remedy Drive is an independent rock band from Lincoln, NE. The band has been touring nationally playing around 200 shows a year for the past three years. Remedy Drive is currently on tour in support of their most recent album 'Rip Open The Skies'. This new project, recorded in Nashville with producer Jim Cooper, focuses the energy and momentum of a band most known for the harmonies and intensity in their piano driven rock tunes.
"The last thing any of us are looking for is a diluted existence - the shadow and not the substance." says David Zach, songwriter for the band. "But I find myself chasing the wind. I catch myself actually believing that success can bring happiness - that accomplishment can complete me – that gold or plastic can validate my existence." This band claims to have found the hope that reaches beyond the boundaries of a fallen world. This music echoes a call to live for something more then the American dream - more then suburban accomplishment - more then sixty-five years and a mortgage. This music is a call to a new life and a new heart.
WILLET:
WILLET is a Rock Band out of Westminster, MD made up of brothers, Jeremy, Justin, and Jordan Willet. Willet tours nationally full time, performing over 250 dates per year.
Jeremy, Justin and Jordan grew up in a Christian home taking piano lessons from their father, which resulted in expanding to other instruments such as bass, drums and guitar. Being that the Willet brothers have always shared a close relationship both musically, and relationally, they pursued a vision to help kids all over the world.
Powerful. Impactful. Life changing. These are just a few words – words directly from the mouths of Rough Draft fans – that describe the band’s music, message and ministry. Already generating a buzz in Nashville and beyond, Rough Draft is putting its mission of “reaching the lost and encouraging the found” into practice through a hard-hitting alternative rock sound and well-crafted lyrics that both challenge and inspire.
