Not long ago, Josh Brown was the front man for Full Devil Jacket, one of the hottest post-grunge, hard rock bands in America. They had it all: sold-out concerts, rabid fans, appearances with Stone Temple Pilots, P.O.D., Papa Roach, Incubus, Nickleback and a high-profile set at Woodstock ’99 that launched them on to tours with Chevelle, Type O Negative, Slipknot, Fuel and Creed. But it came at a price, which Brown paid out with addictions. Those days ended for Brown after a life-threatening overdose. He was compelled to walk away from everything that controlled his life – fame, money, and addiction. All of the energy that he once poured into songs of despair with Full Devil Jacket exploded into songs of freedom through Day of Fire’s first album, Day Of Fire, recorded in 2004. Ambitious musical visions, built to fit the power of the message, turned Day of Fire into an unforgettable, Grammy-nominated, Dove Award winning debut.
After playing throughout America as well as in Germany, Sweden, South America, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere overseas, Day of Fire embarked on a new journey in their professional career. Selling over 150,000 units of their first two releases, they set out on tour with multi-Platinum American Idol, Chris Daughtry in 2007 and 2008.
The son of a Christian Death Metal Record Label owner, John Reuben was raised in a trailer park on a farm that doubled as a church/outreach program for troubled youth. John spent his formative years writing poetry, daydreaming, and turning a profit with his older brother on their baseball card collection. All of this played into his love for hip-hop and an entrepreneurial spirit that prompted him to leave High School early to focus on his musical pursuits. By the age of 18 he had started his own Indie Label, and released several ep's recorded by himself and other artists. He also ran a Hip-Hop night with his brother at a local club on Ohio State campus. Just before his 19th birthday, John packed up his recording gear and moved to Hollywood where he survived by doing extra work for movies and television. If you look close enough you can see him appearing in such classics as "Rocky and Bullwinkle", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" "Melrose Place" and "Clueless". After receiving interest from a handful of labels, John returned home and signed a deal with Gotee Records. Since then he has released four albums selling over 200,000 records, toured the world, got married, and linked back up with his brother to produce comedy shorts, including a mocumentary "The Professional Rapper". In 2007 John Reuben released his fifth and most focused effort to date, "Word of Mouth" produced by Joe Baldridge (Beck, Family Force 5). As a side note john reuben did return to school to get his G.E.D and does not condone dropping out.
Combining melodic vocals with heavy guitar sounds and symphonic studio production, the three brothers from Westminster, MD (Jeremy, Justin and Jordan Willet) make up the rock band that is changing lives around the world. Willet tours internationally full time, performing over 200 dates per year at venues around the world. Through WILLET'S concerts, a message of hope for Africa is portrayed through a partnership with Food For the Hungry's child sponsorship program.
