Spring Tour RECAP
SPRING TOUR RECAP: We talk a lot about ‘community’ on these Tours to the bands, promoters, and many others involved in the shows. And each time we bring bands out from across the country, they all love and appreciate how each city comes together for these events. It’s not just a concert, it’s a community event where many come together for a greater purpose! It takes a lot of work, time, and money to put on a concert and these promoters we work with all do it for the right reason. They want to see their community reached with the good news of Jesus.
We’ve been doing Tours for 3 years now and I feel like all our previous Tours have built up and prepared us for this one. We knew going into it, this was going to be a different style of Tour and therefore going to bring in a different audience than we’ve had before. This wasn’t our most highly attended Tour we’ve ever done, but I really feel it had the most real life ministry to it than any other before. We saw people come to Christ that struggle with alcohol, meth, depression, and others. Real life stuff! We had over 1,000 people make commitments to Christ with over 600 of them completing a response card so we can follow-up with them. There is a lot of hurt out there but Christ reigns over it all.
It was a great Tour for all involved and we want to thank all the bands, promoters, sponsors (Pizza Ranch, Food for the Hungry, etc.), volunteers and everyone involved for all their work and support to make these events happen!
